Percy Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmundo Meirelles having to make a save. Edmundo Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Prusinowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Feliks Nieruchliwy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Meirelles was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a little luck, Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon got control of the ball when Jerônimo Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Trevisan in the 39th minute of play. Percy Romero's late challenge caught a Coritiba Blazers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Romero helped the player get up and apologised. Percy Romero hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Novaes in the 41st minute of play forced Soflov FC's goalkeeper Patricio Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soflov FC's Percy Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliks Nieruchliwy might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmundo Meirelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliks Nieruchliwy ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Meirelles saved Coritiba Blazers FC from getting behind.

The supporters of Coritiba Blazers FC booed when Soflov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Nieruchliwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Coritiba Blazers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Trevisan in the 75th minute of the match. Soflov FC's attentive Percy Romero managed to snatch the ball when Jean do Nascimento made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
