When Kickers United's Jorge Reijnders in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguinhas's goalie prevented a goal. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dino Maquiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Faustão Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes of play, Kickers United's Jorge Reijnders made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustão Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Aguinhas's zone, Jorge Reijnders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Gaspar came out of the goal and Jorge Reijnders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Jorge Reijnders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Aguinhas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kickers United were winning 0-4.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Savino got free with Faustão Gaspar in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Aguinhas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Reijnders fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Kickers United booed when Aguinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jorge Reijnders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kickers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Maquiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Aguinhas's goalkeeper Faustão Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Savino.
