An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 3rd minute of play forced Xorxa F.C.'s goalkeeper Éder Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Piţurcă succeeded in the game's 5th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Victor Piţurcă might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Éder Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Piţurcă ran back to his position shaking his head. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Emerald's Jaime Carioca to fire away a dangerous shot which Éder Mota despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Éder Mota didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Emerald's Victor Piţurcă shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 19 minutes into the match, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Éder Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match Emerald got a corner. Xorxa F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The Xorxa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éder Mota should have stopped the shot. After 27th play minutes Victor Piţurcă shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Éder Mota and just under the crossbar into goal. Emerald's Ferdinand Condrea got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Éder Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Piţurcă went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Victor Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Éder Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 36th minute of play. Victor Piţurcă took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éder Mota. Éder Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The throw-in from Jonathan Varela in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Emerald's Hurşit Cemşit. 46 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Éder Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Victor Piţurcă put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Éder Mota. In the 57thth minute of the game Victor Piţurcă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xorxa F.C.'s Éder Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Piţurcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Éder Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xorxa F.C.'s goalkeeper Éder Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Tino Mayor came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Éder Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Jonathan Varela in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Emerald's Damian Furlit. In the 69th minute, Damian Furlit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Francesco Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xorxa F.C. made a substitution. Ilixo Idiaquez replaced Javier Silva. Xorxa F.C. were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Emerald's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francesco Camacho took the corner. After some careless play in the Xorxa F.C. defense, Gabriel Vermeşan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Éder Mota. The Xorxa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éder Mota should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Victor Piţurcă lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Éder Mota. Éder Mota was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Piţurcă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 80 minute of play. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
