An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Zburliş in the 13th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match FC Momlinho got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rucha Ruchay ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Călin Feroiu fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Călin Feroiu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Momlinho booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Feroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Sven-Olof Kielstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horea Hurmuzache should have stopped the shot. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Basarab Zburliş hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Malcolm Hammarbäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Hurmuzache came out of the goal and Malcolm Hammarbäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Lucrețiu Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DINAMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Nicodim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes FC Momlinho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucrețiu Nicodim who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Maxim Fința managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Antoni Golaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Sven-Olof Kielstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basarab Zburliş to make the kick off. If Malcolm Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Kielstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Horea Hurmuzache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joachim Hellkvist came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Lucrețiu Nicodim. But to his dismay, Lucrețiu Nicodim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 68 minutes into the game, Basarab Zburliş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joachim Hellkvist. Basarab Zburliş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Joachim Hellkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Zburliş went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Basarab Zburliş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Joachim Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Kielstedt notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache. Horea Hurmuzache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Nicodim to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Basarab Zburliş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Hellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. FC Momlinho's Joachim Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Momlinho's Christer Igelström got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Kurt Aspengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Momlinho's zone, Lucrețiu Nicodim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Hellkvist came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Nicodim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of DINAMO echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC Momlinho had held the ball for most of the match.
