Khairul Paine started the match with the kick off. Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Polo 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Felix Amin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Odon. The supporters of Grütly booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fariz Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Amin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Redbourn AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Polo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Isidro Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Hian in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Redbourn AFC's Sean Sum got a free kick in the 24th minute. Isidro Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Tan in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Polo came free, but Felix Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Hian in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Tan during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Tan. In the 45th minute, Abel Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grütly's Isidro Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Tan in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Polo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Bernardino Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Amin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernardino Odon came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Grütly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Odon couldn't finish the play. Abel Polo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Felix Amin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grütly. In the 57th minute of the game, Sajeev Hian landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Gavino Lia fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grütly's protests and gave Gavino Lia a yellow card for diving instead. Redbourn AFC's Shah Seng was substituted for Sajeev Hian. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Grütly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Lia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Abel Polo sped through Redbourn AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Amin. If Abel Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Iskandar Siang hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Bernardino Odon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Amin. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Odon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Polo came free, but Felix Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Grütly booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shah Dyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fariz Swee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iskandar Siang to maneuver through the defense. Grütly's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
