Osvaldo Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Telmo Bulhosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Luís Caeiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael. Alejandro Raphael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th match minute, Mystyc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Jacek Zjawin took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Alejandro Raphael to make any attempt to save it. Luís Caeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Alejandro Raphael made a huge save. Moises Cordero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldo Vilaverde having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Cordero came free, but Osvaldo Vilaverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 46th minute, Rigoberto Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Caeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 67th minute of play forced Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Raphael came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Jaime Corte-Real. But to his dismay, Jaime Corte-Real quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 71 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Alejandro Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Belo in the 75th minute. Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Corte-Real in the 78th minute of play. There was no doubt that VB-Team were the better team. VB-Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
