In the 4th minute Mario Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blasco Macho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glauco do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hartmann Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Glauco do Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Mario Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hartmann Futebol Clube's Blasco Macho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Glauco do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Villamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blasco Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Glauco do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hartmann Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Blasco Macho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Flores in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes, Virgílio Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hartmann Futebol Clube and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Manilan came free, but Blasco Macho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Blasco Macho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Hartmann Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, CSD Concepción's Blasco Macho threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Flores, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Daud Gazale came free, but Blasco Macho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blasco Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Ortega in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Hartmann Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Luz to maneuver through the defense. Andrés Contador kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Miguel Manilan took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Blasco Macho to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aloísio Lopez to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Miguel Manilan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blasco Macho. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Manilan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Blasco Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daud Gazale, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza was substituted for Chico Ortega. After 69 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Navarrete. In the 71st minute Erasmo Lacunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blasco Macho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blasco Macho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Manilan in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Nicolás Villamil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aloísio Lopez. Hartmann Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aloísio Lopez in the 75th minute. Blasco Macho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Manilan in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Lacunza in the 83rd minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Blasco Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match CSD Concepción got a corner. Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tor Tuga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CSD Concepción's Tor Tuga to fire away a dangerous shot which Blasco Macho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Blasco Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lacunza in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Erasmo Lacunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blasco Macho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blasco Macho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Lacunza went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. CSD Concepción's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
