Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Roque started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, A.D Garotos do Vale's Victor Roque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silviu Lung. Silviu Lung yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian De Arrascaeta came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Victor Roque made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Lung. Stiinta-Univ.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Coelho in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Irinel Itoafă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stiinta-Univ. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Roque in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rumen Atanasov managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Garotos do Vale's supporters rose to their feet, but Rumen Atanasov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silviu Lung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silviu Lung made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Victor Roque sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Irinel Itoafă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Manuel Aluncai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D Garotos do Vale the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aluncai to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgian De Arrascaeta got free with Silviu Lung in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Victor Roque could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Silviu Lung however easily saved by the left post. Gerson Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Lung having to interfere. Stiinta-Univ.'s Irinel Itoafă got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franklin Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Burdujan's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Irinel Itoafă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irinel Itoafă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Aluncai was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 51 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Aluncai. 51 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Roque came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Roque in the 55th minute of play. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Coelho in the 56th minute of the match. Irinel Itoafă struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Franklin Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stiinta-Univ.. Victor Roque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silviu Lung having to make a save. Ovidiu Borza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerson Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Coelho came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.D Garotos do Vale's Giorgian De Arrascaeta got a free kick in the 89th minute. A.D Garotos do Vale's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
