The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Tomás de Castro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zacarias Lluc to make any attempt to save it. Milton Friedman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tomás de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Llavallol FC booed when Fabiofs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Friedman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiofs's Milton Friedman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zacarias Lluc but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Arruda in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Lluc saved Llavallol FC from getting behind. Zacarias Lluc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano de Salles in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Llavallol FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Tolino. After recieving a nice pass, Fabiofs's Milton Friedman tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Placido Roland made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Mazza. Fabiofs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Llavallol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milton Friedman got free with Zacarias Lluc in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 played minutes Llavallol FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Farias. In the 45th minute Placido Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Elano de Salles made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Llavallol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Milton Friedman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zacarias Lluc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fabiofs. 58 minutes into the game, Basilio Araoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llavallol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiofs the free kick. Basilio Araoz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Llavallol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Friedman came free, but Zacarias Lluc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Milton Friedman. Remo Simão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fabiofs's Remo Simão got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano de Salles in the 73rd minute of play forced Llavallol FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Lluc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Elano de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zacarias Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Massa's late challenge caught a Llavallol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Massa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Gonçalo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milton Friedman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Basilio Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiofs's Pedro Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Daunte in the 87th minute of play. Ramon Daunte spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fabiofs's goal. After 93 minutes of play, Fabiofs's Elano de Salles made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacarias Lluc was left in no man's land by his defense there!
