KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Rencio in the 3rd minute of play. Apolo Geofredo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Franck De Vriendt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Gaspard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alejo Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Van den Bergh kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Damaso Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Rencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Jansens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Fabricio Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Rencio in the 14th minute of play. Ernesto Pepillo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Jansens. Mark Jansens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Suetens came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomm Verbraecken got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gustav Van den Bergh. 26 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Jansens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Damaso Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luganeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Rencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustacio Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jansens having to interfere. If Damaso Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Luganeros AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wesly Leenpoels made the kick off in the second half. Damaso Rencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomm Verbraecken hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tomm Verbraecken hit a great ball. Damaso Rencio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mark Jansens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Rencio in the 65th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Mark Jansens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregoire Claeys charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregoire Claeys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregoire Claeys hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Suetens. Thierry Nagels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alejo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Nagels, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Franck De Vriendt in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Luganeros AFC's Ariel Sanchez. If Ernesto Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Rencio came free, but Mark Jansens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Gustav Van den Bergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vliegplein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Van den Bergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute of the match Franck De Vriendt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Gaspard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franck De Vriendt made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wesly Leenpoels however managed to control. The Luganeros AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
