An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Fero in the 13th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Maximo Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Gagriel. In the 19th minute Saul Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Iratzeder in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Pelayo saved San Pablo FC from getting behind. If Alfonso Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Gaueko hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Maximo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Iratzeder in the 28th minute of play. Maximo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Iratzeder in the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Pamfil came free, but Iker Indar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Maximo Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Leizarraga went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The San Pablo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sirius Dog were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Gagriel made a kick off. If Paolo Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, San Pablo FC's Maximo Pelayo got control of the ball when Faustino Padro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Prospero Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Pablo FC's protests and gave Prospero Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Moreno. Bartolo Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Prospero Moreno hit a great ball. The long shot by Cornelio Txatxu in the 79th minute really tested Maximo Pelayo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, San Pablo FC's Silverio Lesardo got a free kick in the 91st minute.
