Izydor Werra charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Izydor Werra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Izydor Werra hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Attard Gunners's Lawrence De Marco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cheb Yacef made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clyde Schembri Zerafa got free with Cheb Yacef in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Zrinzo in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cheb Yacef, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Radowit Ostrowski's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Ostrowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Radowit Ostrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clyde Schembri Zerafa shot a long shot in the 21st minute and a light blocked Cheb Yacef hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-0. Slawomir Lampe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Lampe in the 27th minute of play forced Attard Gunners's goalkeeper Amadeo Rapinett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Zrinzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cheb Yacef made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Thomas Zrinzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cheb Yacef was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Gaffarena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Yacef having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Zrinzo got free with Cheb Yacef in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lawrence De Marco might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheb Yacef. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lawrence De Marco ran back to his position shaking his head. Cezary Bierfass hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Cheb Yacef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Schembri Zerafa in the 47th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vefa Sevimli made a kick off. Thomas Zrinzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheb Yacef read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Clyde Schembri Zerafa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attard Gunners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Wertian S Salvinorins's Cheb Yacef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 58th minute of play. Cheb Yacef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence De Marco in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Thomas Zrinzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Yacef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheb Yacef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Zrinzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Yacef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Zrinzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cheb Yacef was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, Lawrence De Marco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cheb Yacef. Wertian S Salvinorins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lawrence De Marco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After a rather tough play, Wertian S Salvinorins's Izydor Werra got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Lawrence De Marco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cheb Yacef was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
