Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Unicorns ™'s Tudor Bodea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Octavian Chivu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Novella in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Frank Novella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Åman in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Baxters Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Soned to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uzay Gencalp went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Frank Novella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Corneliu Vulpăşin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Uzay Gencalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Vulpăşin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uzay Gencalp ran back to his position shaking his head. When Frank Novella, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Corneliu Vulpăşin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Uzay Gencalp scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Ahlgren in the 36th minute of the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzay Gencalp in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Novella came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uzay Gencalp to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Skarkman. 56 minutes into the match, Staffan Åman notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Skarkman in the 61st minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Åman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Iacob Surdu hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Baxters Boys's Corneliu Vulpăşin threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frank Novella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Baxters Boys's Frank Novella in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicorns ™'s goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Skarkman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Skarkman got free with Corneliu Vulpăşin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corneliu Vulpăşin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uzay Gencalp's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Frank Novella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baxters Boys's Olov Tham was substituted for Uzay Gencalp. In the 85th minute Kevin Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Baxters Boys's Olov Tham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 90th minute, Tudor Bodea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Frank Novella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baxters Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Baxters Boys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
