In the 12th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Ricart in the 14th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ademar Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Castro in the 40th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Clóvis Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Ademar Castro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the game, La Candela FC's Ademar Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clóvis Motta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Júlio Melendez got a free kick in the 52nd minute. La Candela FC's Enzo Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Silva in the 53rd minute of play. Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Castro in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clóvis Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Candela FC's Alfredo Rojas was substituted for Benigno Ricart. Clóvis Motta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo Rojas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. La Candela FC's Carlos Salinas was substituted for Jorge Benitez. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Tarcisio Cabral got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredo Rojas could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Clóvis Motta however easily saved by the left post. If Ademar Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Castro came free, but Clóvis Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ademar Castro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Ademar Castro got a free kick in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Alfredo Rojas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Morro Grande E.C's Clóvis Motta. Clóvis Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Clóvis Motta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. La Candela FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
