Rutger Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Silviano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rutger Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 8th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Rodriguez. Örebro FF's Ivan Turina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Ricart in the 11th minute of play. Enzo Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaafar Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Rutger Magnusson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Silviano. Enzo Silviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Gaafar Jesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enzo Silviano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 27th minute Gaafar Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Magnusson in the 33rd minute of play. The Örebro FF fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ademar Castro took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Ivan Turina to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Arruabarrena during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rodolfo Arruabarrena hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Gaafar Jesus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Candela FC's Enzo Silviano didn't even have to move.

The wind increased when Rutger Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. Enzo Silviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaafar Jesus in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Benigno Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the La Candela FC defense, Gaafar Jesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Silviano. The La Candela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Silviano should have stopped the shot. Geovani Dracena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enzo Silviano. La Candela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Örebro FF's Rutger Magnusson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Candela FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Örebro FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Ademar Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Turina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 70 minutes into the game, Júlio Melendez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Örebro FF's Djondo Djokodamono quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rodolfo Arruabarrena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Ramón Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ivan Turina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Castro in the 78th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaafar Jesus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enzo Silviano. That made the score 2-6 in the 79 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Örebro FF's Enzo Silviano threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rutger Magnusson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Enzo Silviano was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Gaafar Jesus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaafar Jesus really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaafar Jesus got free with Enzo Silviano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Alfredo Rojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Turina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Castro in the 97th minute of play forced Örebro FF's goalkeeper Ivan Turina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örebro FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
