Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mauro Telmo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nicolau Soeiro scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Gargano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nicolau Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doping Positivo's Carter Gargano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolau Soeiro in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mauro Telmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doping Positivo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 21 played minutes Doping Positivo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Henry. Armindo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Gargano having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Gremio Viana's Armindo Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Gargano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 34th minute, Mauro Telmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Žabka hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Nicolau Soeiro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carter Gargano. Carter Gargano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Telmo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvino Morais. That made the score 2-3 in the 41 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Telmo in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvino Morais saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. The supporters of Doping Positivo booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvino Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Telmo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolau Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Doping Positivo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jan Žabka hit a great ball. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Salvador Resende hit a great ball. Luis Alberto Brandao kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mauro Telmo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Silvino Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doping Positivo. If Nicolau Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Doping Positivo's Carter Gargano got control of the ball when Nicolau Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's Nicolau Soeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Gargano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Jan Žabka in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gremio Viana's Luis Alberto Brandao. 70 minutes into the game, Luis Alberto Brandao threw the ball into play from the sideline. Doping Positivo's Jan Žabka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Bernardo Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolau Soeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Carter Gargano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gremio Viana's attentive Luis Alberto Brandao managed to snatch the ball when Jan Žabka made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Nicolau Soeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carter Gargano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvino Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Telmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Carter Gargano made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Nicolau Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Aznar in the 89th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Silvino Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Žabka made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gremio Viana's Luis Alberto Brandao.
