The crowd rose to their feet as Altermundi FC's Inocente Luna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Asteri. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Asteri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Altermundi FC were awarded a corner. Tamás Saághy went to the cornerflag to take it.
