In the 18thth minute of the game Cain Velasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altermundi FC's Rollo Duguid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Vase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Arriaran kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Luco in the 33rd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cain Velasquez took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Rollo Duguid to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Hallgren to strike the kick off in the second half.
