The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when Oakcroft Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Brovall to maneuver through the defense. Simon Bergsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Eriksson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Eriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakcroft Thrashers's Adrian Sillén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Andreas Haglund with Tobias Jernberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. HEJA ESLÖV's Karl-Michael Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickard Rosén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Adrian Sillén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Melker Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 43rd minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Simon Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HEJA ESLÖV's Simon Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 45th minute of play. Simon Bergsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Wassenius in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Jernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Simon Bergsten made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Karl-Michael Eriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Sillén was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kristoffer Kleen hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Andreas Haglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Adrian Sillén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Hjälm. In the 74th minute of the match Rickard Rosén shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Sillén showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dan Wassenius's late challenge caught a HEJA ESLÖV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Wassenius helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Dan Wassenius got a free kick in the 75th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Rune Stenman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 82nd match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Stenman to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to HEJA ESLÖV's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Dan Wassenius tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Simon Bergsten seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Eriksson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Karl-Michael Eriksson got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 88 played minutes HEJA ESLÖV got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Brovall. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Simon Bergsten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Karl-Michael Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HEJA ESLÖV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Oakcroft Thrashers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
