An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Bazylnikov in the 23rd minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Andrzejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Macedo in the 25th minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Jan Andrzejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Danone CC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Danone CC's Luís Eduardo de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the match, Júnior Veloso notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski. Jan Andrzejewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Júnior Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Andrzejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Bazylnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes, Dinei de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danone CC and the Zgierskie Zlewy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Dinei de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zgierskie Zlewy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Danone CC were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior Veloso to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Júnior Veloso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Andrzejewski. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zgierskie Zlewy's zone, Cyprian Grajewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Andrzejewski came out of the goal and Cyprian Grajewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enéas Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jan Andrzejewski made a huge save. Jan Andrzejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Veloso in the 69th minute of play. Jan Andrzejewski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Jairo Macedo sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Jan Andrzejewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Macedo. Jan Andrzejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Zgierskie Zlewy from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Macedo got free with Jan Andrzejewski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski got control of the ball when Jairo Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Danone CC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
