Ivo Amaral came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Harrison McCann. But to his dismay, Harrison McCann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Harrison McCann made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 13th minute, Toli Beloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Solares in the 18th minute of play. Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venceslao Solares in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Gonçalo Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Zátopek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venceslao Solares's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrison McCann in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Cabral in the 30th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Emil Zátopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional Pechofrío's zone, Luís Guilherme Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Zátopek came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Rómulo Gallegos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Salles to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harrison McCann in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Amaral came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional Pechofrío's Jakob Ingebrigtsen. But to his dismay, Jakob Ingebrigtsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The wind increased when Harrison McCann made the kick off in the second half. Ivo Amaral made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Harrison McCann sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Ingebrigtsen in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Harrison McCann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivo Amaral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erauso Espantoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ivo Amaral made a huge save. In the 81st minute Gonçalo Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Zátopek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harrison McCann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ivo Amaral made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Sarmento in the 85th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Emil Zátopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Ingebrigtsen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Luís Guilherme Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The Internacional Pechofrío supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Internacional Pechofrío would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
