The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Ambrose Keen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrose Keen to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Donovan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Vitório Lago sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Ambrose Keen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar. Faustão Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horace Vaughn in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Cyril Cantrell got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 39 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Matorin. Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valère Flowers in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Horace Vaughn made a precise shot to the right of Faustão Gaspar. Aguinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Flames FC's Tomas Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Arósio in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Orval Crow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Flames FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horace Vaughn to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Flames FC's Ambrose Keen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão Gaspar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tomas Donovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Kent Chesnay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ambrose Keen made a precise shot to the right of Faustão Gaspar. Aguinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Aguinhas's zone, Kent Chesnay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Gaspar came out of the goal and Kent Chesnay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Flames FC's Faustão Gaspar threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kent Chesnay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Aguinhas's Luiz Gustavo Mota got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Valère Flowers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. After 72 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Soeiro. Horace Vaughn kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes, Aguinhas's Nildo Donato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomas Donovan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguinhas reached it. Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Aguinhas from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Ambrose Keen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Aguinhas got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mota. After having played for 84 minutes, Valère Flowers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valère Flowers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustão Gaspar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Flames FC's Horace Vaughn shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. After taking down the ball on Flames FC's corner Valère Flowers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Faustão Gaspar quite easily take care of the ball.
