The supporters of Flames FC booed when Lions Of Turks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Hafız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cengiz Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orval Crow in the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to Lions Of Turks getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Arif Burak Erengüç hit a great ball. Cengiz Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Chesnay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Arif Burak Erengüç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Chesnay might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cengiz Bozbey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Chesnay ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Flames FC's Tomas Donovan got control of the ball when Namık Hafız tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Lions Of Turks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadri Fidan to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Micheal Burnham sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lions Of Turks's Cengiz Bozbey didn't even have to move. Cengiz Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horace Vaughn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Namık Hafız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Namık Hafız. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hakkı Tanyeri. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horace Vaughn got free with Cengiz Bozbey in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Cengiz Bozbey managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Flames FC's Horace Vaughn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Lions Of Turks getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sadri Fidan hit a great ball. Cengiz Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orval Crow in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Micheal Burnham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cengiz Bozbey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Namık Hafız. When Namık Hafız got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Lions Of Turks. Flames FC's Ty Lapierre was substituted for Hans Lavallée. Namık Hafız kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gencay Akbayrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tomas Donovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Darin Nunn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flames FC and the Lions Of Turks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Flames FC's zone, Namık Hafız stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Donovan came out of the goal and Namık Hafız tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Flames FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
