Conny Gullesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conny Gullesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjötorp IF. If Hjalmar Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars-Erik Utfal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gert Friberger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bodil United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After having played for 93 minutes, Bengt-Arne Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bodil United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sjötorp IF played a much better game than FC Bodil United and deserved their victory. The FC Bodil United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
