NAPOLI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nazariy Boyko was slow to take the kick. During this time Philadelphia Union FC's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Tosi in the 12th minute of play forced Philadelphia Union FC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Tosi in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Orcondona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dominic Orcondona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Micucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Humberto Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Di Nino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Costantino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dominic Orcondona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Siembab got free with Carter Di Nino in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bianco Giannico took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominic Orcondona. Dominic Orcondona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Philadelphia Union FC's Humberto Saron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carter Di Nino. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Humberto Saron scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carter Di Nino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Philadelphia Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Costantino came free, but Dominic Orcondona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Costantino to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes, Philadelphia Union FC's Gaudencio Bermudez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carter Di Nino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Philadelphia Union FC reached it. After 47 played minutes S.S.C. NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Scarinci. After having played for 47 minutes, Nazariy Boyko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carter Di Nino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Saron went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominic Orcondona was a little too slow when Anselmo Costantino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 4-2. Philadelphia Union FC made a substitution. Belmiro Paris replaced Humberto Saron. Philadelphia Union FC's Myroslav Zanevskyi was substituted for Teobald Siembab. In the 68th minute, Myroslav Zanevskyi made a precise shot to the right of Carter Di Nino. S.S.C. NAPOLI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 76th minute, S.S.C.
