Palloketut's Antti Furuholm got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Denys Babak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes, Palloketut's Antti Furuholm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palloketut reached it. When Miltos Mouratidis fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Philadelphia Union FC's protests and gave Miltos Mouratidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Philadelphia Union FC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jyrki Rajamäki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobald Siembab went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Teobald Siembab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Saron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jyrki Rajamäki having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Humberto Saron put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jyrki Rajamäki. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The wind increased when Jari Welling made the kick off in the second half. Teobald Siembab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jyrki Rajamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jari Welling took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominic Orcondona. Dominic Orcondona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Philadelphia Union FC's Belmiro Paris was substituted for Humberto Saron. Philadelphia Union FC made a substitution. Myroslav Zanevskyi replaced Teobald Siembab. A collision led to Philadelphia Union FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Stefan Gustavsson hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Myroslav Zanevskyi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jyrki Rajamäki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th match minute, Philadelphia Union FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Costacurta to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Domenico Costacurta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Philadelphia Union FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palloketut the free kick. Jyrki Rajamäki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Myroslav Zanevskyi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Jyrki Rajamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Zanevskyi in the 79th minute of the match. Jyrki Rajamäki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Myroslav Zanevskyi's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Myroslav Zanevskyi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jyrki Rajamäki. Myroslav Zanevskyi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7.
