The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Vladimir Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Di Nino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Loyola in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Pacella in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Motta saved Fast layne Fc from getting behind. When Fast layne Fc's Arnaldo Salgado in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Fast layne Fc's Cristiano Baader sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carter Di Nino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Arnaldo Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristoforo Pacella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fast layne Fc's goalkeeper Benjamin Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Cristiano Furino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Arnaldo Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Fast layne Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Salgado couldn't finish the play. Carter Di Nino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Baader in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Cristiano Baader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Di Nino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Fast layne Fc got a corner. S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enéas Gaspar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fast layne Fc's Paulo Renato Trevisan to fire away a dangerous shot which Carter Di Nino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Carlucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fast layne Fc were furious when Cícero Araújo was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Fast layne Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S.S.C. NAPOLI:s goal. The referee gave S.S.C. NAPOLI a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabiano Monaco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fast layne Fc's Benjamin Motta. 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Freitas came free, but Carter Di Nino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Carter Di Nino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save S.S.C. NAPOLI from getting a goal against them. Vítor da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fast layne Fc made a substitution. Amílton Dias replaced Vladimir Loyola. 73 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Carter Di Nino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Baader. In the 78th minute, Cristiano Baader hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Ademir Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fast layne Fc and the S.S.C. NAPOLI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Fast layne Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Freitas. Amílton Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Carter Di Nino made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fast layne Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.S.C. NAPOLI.
