Alex Franceschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Characate FC's Loco Palermo in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Marcos Mederi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Franceschi was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Marcos Mederi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Mederi got free with Alex Franceschi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Mederi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Franceschi saved forsal FC from getting behind. forsal FC's Alex Franceschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Mederi in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alessandro Ronconi during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Characate FC's Marcos Mederi got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 67 minutes, Alberigo Cavaliere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. forsal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Cavaliere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, forsal FC's Alex Franceschi got control of the ball when Marcos Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Characate FC's Loco Palermo to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Franceschi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Marcos Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but forsal FC's Alex Franceschi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Mederi in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Franceschi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Mederi in the 83rd minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Alex Franceschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Characate FC's Marcos Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Franceschi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Marcos Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Franceschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Characate FC's corner Marcos Mederi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Franceschi quite easily take care of the ball. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Secco in the 91st minute of play. Characate FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
