After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Grozdan Grozev got a free kick in the 15th minute. Marcial Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, SPARROWS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Zegov to maneuver through the defense. When Benislav Bozov fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPARROWS's protests and gave Benislav Bozov a yellow card for diving instead. SPARROWS's Huben Temelyotev was substituted for Tzvyatko Trifonov. In the 36th minute, Benislav Bozov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Milevski was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Marcial Odon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcial Odon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nemesio Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benislav Bozov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Milevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, SPARROWS's Benislav Bozov got a free kick in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Adrian Milevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Pabla in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Stanyo Mindizov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Pabla in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Milevski saved SPARROWS from getting behind. In the 67th minute Eustaquio Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Milevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SPARROWS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SPARROWS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
