The tension between the Atletas Campesinos F.C. and the Jenipapo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Jakobe. Nemesio Gonchan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Leonardo Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. Kaká Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Pabla in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Eriberto dos Santos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nemesio Gonchan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute of the match Jenipapo SC got a corner. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisão Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luan Vale almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nemesio Gonchan did a great save. In the 25th minute Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner. Luisão Silveira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Jenipapo SC's corner Luisão Silveira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nemesio Gonchan quite easily take care of the ball. Nemesio Gonchan was a little too slow when Cristiano Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Marquez came free, but Nemesio Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Pabla came free, but Kaká Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ovidio Pabla notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tostão Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Vale in the 52nd minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Oscar do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Odon got free with Kaká Lopes in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Jakobe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kaká Lopes came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Jakobe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 73rd minute. Kaká Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidio Pabla in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Percy Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jenipapo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. Percy Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Odon in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, one of Atletas Campesinos F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. Atletas Campesinos F.C.:s Nemesio Gonchan showed great skill when he stopped Luisão Silveira:s penalty. Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Odon in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
