They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jo Calleri made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Jo Calleri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Brice Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 53 played minutes, Palmares Futebol Clube's Vicente Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brice Leach came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmares Futebol Clube reached it. The audience was convinced that Jo Calleri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brice Leach was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Francisco Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loic Deal in the 59th minute of the match.
