Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ermengol Cabrales started the match with the kick off. In the 8th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedro Villaelrriego to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Tamajon came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes RO Army V55 got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Papakrivas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xan Revillas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmuth Duckadam saved RO Army V55 from getting behind. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermengol Cabrales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper Sagrario Paniagua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerasimos Patsionidis. In the 29th minute, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sagrario Paniagua. Sagrario Paniagua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 34 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Saron. Daniel Prodan shot from long distance in the 35th minute, but Sagrario Paniagua was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. CD Municipal's Sagrario Paniagua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Symeonakis in the 38th minute of play. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermengol Cabrales in the 41st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Ermengol Cabrales got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Helmuth Duckadam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Revillas in the 42nd minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Patsionidis to make the kick off. With his leg Helmuth Duckadam managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when CD Municipal's Xan Revillas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. CD Municipal were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after RO Army V55's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ermengol Cabrales took the corner. If Xan Revillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Fanis Kapernekas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sagrario Paniagua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Xan Revillas. After 69 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Cedro Villaelrriego. Sagrario Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Prodan in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Sokratis Symeonakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Anastasios Ntaltos fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Anastasios Ntaltos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Anastasios Ntaltos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Cabrales came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virila Parra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Xan Revillas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. RO Army V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xan Revillas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Helmuth Duckadam made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Xan Revillas sent off a good shot on target. Manos Komaitis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Manos Komaitis got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the RO Army V55 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
