Toa Toa 4EVER's Tarcio Bulisani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Toa Toa 4EVER from getting a goal against them. Ruud van Nistelrooij could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tarcio Bulisani made a huge save. In the 20th minute Toa Toa 4EVER were awarded a corner. Luís Fábio Sergipano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Toa Toa 4EVER's corner Luís Fábio Sergipano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juha Jokiranta quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Paavo Salmela took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tarcio Bulisani to make any attempt to save it. Juha Jokiranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor de Sena in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Michael Owen. Manchester United FC's Terho Ylimäki was substituted for Michael Owen. In the 34th match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pirkka Rautee to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Tarcio Bulisani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tero Haakana. Tarcio Bulisani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paavo Salmela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarcio Bulisani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tero Haakana in the 39th minute. Tarcio Bulisani didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tero Haakana to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Ruud van Nistelrooij quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paavo Salmela in the 57th minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper Tarcio Bulisani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Luís Fábio Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toa Toa 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Terho Ylimäki hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paavo Salmela kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Maicon Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toa Toa 4EVER and the Manchester United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Maicon Tepedino hit a great ball. The referee showed Adriano do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriano do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. During the 83rd minute of the match Maicon Tepedino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maicon Tepedino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Maicon Tepedino got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Toa Toa 4EVER booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirkka Rautee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Toa Toa 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Walmyr Cardoso hit a great ball. Manchester United FC's Rafael da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Paavo Salmela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcio Bulisani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarcio Bulisani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tero Haakana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juha Jokiranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Sergipano in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manchester United FC had played much better football throughout.
