The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Wenerdahl got free with Joel Maciel in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Israel Dacio. Claudinho Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute of the match Tarcísio Palha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorien Vilela skillfully saved the ball. Claudinho Lima scored 0-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Wenerdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Claudinho Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Joel Maciel made a huge save. Lorien Vilela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Prokowski in the 93rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Joel Maciel got control of the ball when Mikael Wenerdahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vänge IF played a much better game than Garanhão do SUL and deserved their victory. The Garanhão do SUL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
