If Eugen Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes of play, International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Abar was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nicolae Pădureanu hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Maci -MM- getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gigel Seremet hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Eugen Spoială cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ciro Teyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of International Thunders booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Spoială didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Abar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Kuster in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Luca Divis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Spoială kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Teyo. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Encuțu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave International Thunders the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patric Rudersdorfer to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugen Spoială blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Teyo having to make a save. In the 53rd minute Eugen Spoială shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eugen Spoială managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Spoială was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Spoială in the 58th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Ciro Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Spoială in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Teyo saved International Thunders from getting behind. Ciro Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Spoială, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panait Piersic charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panait Piersic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Adolfo Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Eckstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Nicolae Pădureanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave International Thunders the free kick. In the 86th minute, Nicolae Pădureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steffen Steinki, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ovidiu Encuțu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Eugen Spoială struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ciro Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. In the 94th minute Gerrit Dohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Abar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ovidiu Encuțu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Ovidiu Encuțu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Maci -MM- were victorious despite being under pressure from International Thunders for much of the match.
