After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Baldomero Benitez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 10 played minutes Club Atletico Juanita got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Oliveiro. In the 10th minute of the match Tor-Egil Arntsen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Ferran skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Valiente in the 15th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Bastian Ytterstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olav Øverby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor-Egil Arntsen got free with Arnulfo Ferran in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Ytterstad in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Pastor Benat got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Bastian Ytterstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor-Egil Arntsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnulfo Ferran came out and tried to block the shot, but Tor-Egil Arntsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jon-Egil Grønli hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Kenneth Foldnes made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Ferran. Club Atletico Juanita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rafael Oliveiro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arild Kvalnes to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Kenneth Foldnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Arnulfo Ferran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led Brufoss IL's Kenneth Foldnes to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnulfo Ferran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Club Atletico Juanita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Hægeland scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Ferran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnulfo Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Hægeland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bastian Ytterstad hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Laffitte in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atletico Juanita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brufoss IL.
