In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Juste Gilmore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Márton Zádori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilie Brumaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Juste Gilmore was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Olimpiu Teodorescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olimpiu Teodorescu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sándor Szilágyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balázs Héj during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Várdomb getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Balázs Héj hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Sándor Szilágyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Buta kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Várdomb's Juste Gilmore got control of the ball when Olimpiu Teodorescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juste Gilmore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kálmán Horváth came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Várdomb booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Alupulesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olimpiu Teodorescu to make the kick off. Juste Gilmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olimpiu Teodorescu's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 59th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Juste Gilmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sándor Szilágyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ilie Brumaru made a huge save. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sándor Szilágyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Várdomb's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Várdomb's Sándor Szilágyi to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilie Brumaru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute Kálmán Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Brumaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juste Gilmore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu in the 65th minute of the match. Ilie Brumaru was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ádám Gellért. After 70 minutes, Olimpiu Teodorescu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Várdomb's Juste Gilmore tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Várdomb's Levente Oláh got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Olimpiu Teodorescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juste Gilmore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juste Gilmore didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 87 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Octav Buta. Ciprian Gaiță hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juste Gilmore was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Várdomb had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
