If Vagner Penisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the game, Karim Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vagner Penisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Franco during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, ÓKINJÔ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Franco to maneuver through the defense. Roland Cirella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Afonso Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vagner Penisson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Silvestre Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Wil 1900 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanic Kulenovic should have stopped the shot. Afonso Meireles was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Vagner Penisson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vagner Penisson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 87th minute Anier Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
