The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Maore got free with Ciriaco Hulberto in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Domeka came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Polenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Hulberto was a little too slow when Luís Artime got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Tomás Domeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Mejía was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gonzalo Carneiro had several of the Los Delfines's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Ciriaco Hulberto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luis Ekhi took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Mejía. Luís Mejía dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Ciriaco Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Artime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Hulberto made a huge save. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Gualterio Quilo scored to the left of an out of position Ciriaco Hulberto, making the score, 5-2. In the 40th minute, Marciano Maore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Hulberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Ekhi to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Artime during the 52nd minute. Ciriaco Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Artime in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Polenta to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Johans scored 12-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciriaco Hulberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiburcio Lidon hit a great ball. A hard shot by Fidel Dimas from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Luís Mejía's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roque Senio's late challenge caught a LA LUZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Senio helped the player get up and apologised. Roque Senio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Gualterio Quilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Hulberto. Los Delfines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Quilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-3. Pedro Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Luís Mejía tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LA LUZ F.C. had played much better football throughout.
