In the 8th minute, Salvador Quintela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th minute, Armando Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Petruț Dugulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Quintyn in the 17th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Brumaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Quintyn went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, ÓKINJÔ FC's Afonso Meireles got control of the ball when Olimpiu Teodorescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute FC Cosula-BTF- were awarded a corner. Sergiu Rădoi went to the cornerflag to take it. Ilie Brumaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Quintela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, ÓKINJÔ FC's Luisito Frasquito seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luisito Frasquito the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ÓKINJÔ FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luisito Frasquito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. ÓKINJÔ FC:s Afonso Meireles showed great skill when he stopped Sergiu Rădoi:s penalty. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Quintyn in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Anier Quintyn came free, but Ilie Brumaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpiu Teodorescu was the one to do the kick off. Olimpiu Teodorescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Afonso Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurel Lăceanu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Quintyn in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Brumaru saved FC Cosula-BTF- from getting behind. Afonso Meireles came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Teodorescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ilie Brumaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Ran Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Cosula-BTF- from getting a goal against them. Afonso Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Teodorescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Eduardo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
