Elderslie Magpies's Joel Åkerman got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes, Jarrett Maddern mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the Centenario Bohemio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Centenario Bohemio's zone, Elliot Rosendal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Oso came out of the goal and Elliot Rosendal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Elliot Rosendal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Oso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Esteban Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Quin in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Montrell in the 41st minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliot Rosendal struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Claudio Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elderslie Magpies. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elderslie Magpies's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Elliot Rosendal made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Jarrett Maddern came free, but Claudio Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Claudio Oso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Quin in the 62nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Baldomiro Oto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteban Guerrero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elliot Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claudio Oso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Åkerman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Quin in the 73rd minute of play. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Quin in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Alfonso Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Guerrero came out of the goal and Alfonso Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Alfonso Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Elliot Rosendal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Oso. That made the score 3-3 in the 88 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goalkeeper Claudio Oso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima. Celedonio Hartz charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Hartz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Centenario Bohemio getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Celedonio Hartz hit a great ball. Claudio Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hale Mckinnes in the 97th minute of the match. The Elderslie Magpies players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Centenario Bohemio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
