In the 14th minute Adelino Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Heren Istarion booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Rummens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Endoh De Cat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KFC Paal-Tervant's Nicolaas Van Hamme didn't even have to move. In the 29th minute Adelino Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Heren Istarion's David Bouzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian Weynants in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Fabiano Terrasi made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas Van Hamme. KFC Paal-Tervant's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ugochukwutubelum De Cat managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Heren Istarion's supporters rose to their feet, but Ugochukwutubelum De Cat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolaas Van Hamme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Terrasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolaas Van Hamme having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Hamme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Terrasi. Jonas Grönberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsene Vermeulen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Terrasi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nicolaas Van Hamme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Heren Istarion. 71 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's Fabiano Terrasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolaas Van Hamme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolaas Van Hamme came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Heren Istarion's Fabiano Terrasi. But to his dismay, Fabiano Terrasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The Heren Istarion made a substitution. Lisa De Cat replaced Fabiano Terrasi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Schulzki in the 79th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Nicolaas Van Hamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, Lisa De Cat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolaas Van Hamme. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolaas Van Hamme should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Adelino Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisa De Cat might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolaas Van Hamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisa De Cat ran back to his position shaking his head. Preetamjot Aşuräliyev kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Manu Gyselinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bouzon having to interfere. Nicolaas Van Hamme came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Heren Istarion's Lisa De Cat. But to his dismay, Lisa De Cat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0.
