The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilian Weynants didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Elliot Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolaas Van Hamme. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. When Hale Mckinnes fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elderslie Magpies's protests and gave Hale Mckinnes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hale Mckinnes hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's Luckas De Wortelaers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicolaas Van Hamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarrett Maddern in the 36th minute. Manu Gyselinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Guerrero having to make a save. Esteban Guerrero came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Paal-Tervant's Luckas De Wortelaers. But to his dismay, Luckas De Wortelaers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
In the 50th minute, Luckas De Wortelaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas Van Hamme. KFC Paal-Tervant's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Manu Gyselinx managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters rose to their feet, but Manu Gyselinx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Guerrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsene Vermeulen got free with Esteban Guerrero in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Manu Gyselinx could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Esteban Guerrero however easily saved by the left post. Jorne Verhofstadt kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Manu Gyselinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Esteban Guerrero made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Tobias Geeraerts seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tobias Geeraerts the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KFC Paal-Tervant protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobias Geeraerts had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jarrett Maddern took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolaas Van Hamme. KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute Elliot Rosendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Van Hamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolaas Van Hamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Rosendal in the 77th minute of the match. Elliot Rosendal charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Rosendal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorne Verhofstadt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. 94 minutes into the game, Gwenn Preuveneer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick. After a rather tough play, KFC Paal-Tervant's Gwenn Preuveneer got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 97 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by George Galvin. Luckas De Wortelaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. KFC Paal-Tervant may have spent more time on the ball, but Elderslie Magpies were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
