The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Karl Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Cansever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Staffan Albäck hit a great ball. Hans Hasund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulu Şavat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Karl Arhenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Turan Cansever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Ulu Şavat took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hans Hasund to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abuzer Uca to maneuver through the defense. Turan Cansever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Arenberg came free, but Turan Cansever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Sundborn IF got a corner. Nevşehirspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Staffan Albäck ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sundborn IF's Staffan Albäck to fire away a dangerous shot which Turan Cansever despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute Ulu Şavat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Hasund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Hybbert made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sven Lind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Arhenius to make the kick off. Turan Cansever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Arenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Josef Blomqvist in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nevşehirspor's Rıfat Hazlan. Hans Hasund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulu Şavat in the 58th minute of the match. Sven Lind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Turan Cansever made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Turan Cansever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Lind. Sundborn IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nevşehirspor the free kick. After 77 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Hybbert. Hans Hasund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulu Şavat went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Nevşehirspor from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Lind got free with Turan Cansever in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars-Erik Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Arhenius in the 92nd minute of play. Sundborn IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Staffan Albäck in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Ulu Şavat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Hasund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nevşehirspor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
