The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franco Bobbio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Co Luijpers 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Gido Kort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Davide Cavaliere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gido Kort during the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
