He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anjullan AFC reached it. A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Colasante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Costante in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Silverio Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Colasante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Matthew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Corrente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Urbes made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Dario Mancinelli put in a rough tackle. A.C. Patagonia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Lalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Anjullan AFC's players had a chance to rest. When Sebastian Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjullan AFC's protests and gave Sebastian Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Sebastian Panpili got a free kick in the 34th minute. Francesco Goffredo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Francesco Colasante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Matthew in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Quintan in the 45th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Francesco Colasante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Goffredo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Angel Quintan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The A.C. Patagonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anjullan AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Benedetti was the one to do the kick off. Cosimo Benedetti scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Urbes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francesco Colasante made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Silverio Matthew sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Matthew in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Colasante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Matthew in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Colasante saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Francesco Colasante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Matthew. Francesco Colasante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Matthew's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Matthew to maneuver through the defense. Anjullan AFC's Omar Bitxintxo was substituted for Narciso Fix. Anjullan AFC made a substitution. Lucio Vitin replaced Herminio Paublo. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when A.C. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo De Cesaris couldn't finish the play. Anjullan AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
