A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Simon Rosén hit a great ball. Noah Amadeo Rahel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddie Östman. The Gonzez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julien Marxer in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Östman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 14th minute of the match Simon Rosén completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simon Rosén a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ booed when The Gonzez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Rosén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Östman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Cakir in the 15th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Johannes Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gonzez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ the free kick. Johannes Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Elias Hök managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gonzez's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Hök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Good breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Ritter hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, The Gonzez's Elias Hök tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Ernst Cakir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes, Ernst Cakir made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Gonzez's Eddie Östman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eddie Östman came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Bernd Heid. But to his dismay, Bernd Heid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 44th minute Ernst Cakir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Östman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Hök came free, but Herbert Good reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Good having to interfere.

The wind increased when Ernst Cakir made the kick off in the second half. Eddie Östman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Cakir in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Stålberg during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Holger Stålberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Bernd Heid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddie Östman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernst Cakir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Östman having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Bernd Heid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eddie Östman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in The Gonzez's zone, Eddy Moser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Östman came out of the goal and Eddy Moser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Östman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Cakir, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Bernd Heid could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Eddie Östman however easily saved by the left post. Julien Marxer kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Eddie Östman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Cakir, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th match minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Casutt to maneuver through the defense.
