The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Fesport FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Carceles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fesport FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Valentín Roman hit a great ball. Justino Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The long shot by Alvaro Beloki in the 20th minute really tested Filomeno Atarrabi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Diagur Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Martxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alvaro Beloki sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Fesport FC's Jakes Jurado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filomeno Atarrabi. Filomeno Atarrabi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Diagur Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Bastia in the 36th minute of play. Valentín Roman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Bastia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jakes Jurado kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Camerino during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fesport FC:s goal. Alvaro Beloki shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 70 minutes into the game, Fesport FC's Alvaro Beloki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Atarrabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 73 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by 傅西谦. Diagur Infante made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Saturnino Bastia sent off a good shot on target. When Natalio Martxel fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Natalio Martxel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Natalio Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Jakes Jurado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Atarrabi. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jakes Jurado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 97th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 傅西谦 to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Alvaro Beloki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Atarrabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
