Jirko Bur made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dietrich Bucheli however managed to control. In the 41stth minute of the game Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul got free with Adrian Txindoki in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Viseu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Barea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball.
