With his leg Godo Gøl managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Fml Cobiçados HD's Hélder Campidelis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 24 minutes, Jerome Achen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lugano and the Fml Cobiçados HD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jerome Achen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Qiao Jian notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fml Cobiçados HD's Claudinho Rossi. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Qiao Jian made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Eriberto Siqueira made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lugano's Godo Gøl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes in the game, Qiao Jian fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Claudinho Rossi having to interfere. Teddy Racine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Rossi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fml Cobiçados HD's Dawson Cole got a free kick in the 67th minute. Fml Cobiçados HD's King Taylor was substituted for Dawson Cole. FC Lugano made a substitution. Gautier Gehrig replaced Garnier Nüesch. Hélder Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Teddy Racine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fml Cobiçados HD's Claudinho Rossi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Qiao Jian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Teddy Racine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fml Cobiçados HD getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Elivélton Guerra hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on FC Lugano's corner Pattharawut Sirikeartkumjorn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudinho Rossi quite easily take care of the ball. Elivélton Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Claudinho Rossi was a little too slow when Qiao Jian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Lugano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
